Green & Gold Presentations - 2005

The culmination of Penshurst RSL Rugby League’s 2005 season occurred on the weekend 8th and 9th October. On the Saturday evening, the traditional Green & Gold presentation for our International teams was held in Penshurst RSL's auditorium. The following morning saw the return to Evatt Park of the Junior Green & Gold day for the Mini and Mod teams. In a packed to capacity auditorium, the Green and Gold presentation recognised and rewarded our international players and club officials for their efforts in 2005. Highlights of the night were... * Recognition of a successful season when the under 11s' Shane Widderick was named Coach of the Year * The presentation of joint Clubperson of the Year to our hard working couple - canteen manager, Kellie Campbell, and treasurer, Darren Campbell A big thank you to everyone that helped make the Junior Green & Gold day such an enjoyable day for our younger players. All of the field activities combined with the glorious sunshine at Evatt Park were the ideal lead-up to the presentation of the Mini and Mod team awards.   Full list of 2005 club awards here...
