u9 - Premiers 2011

Penshurst RSL's u9s are the 2011 premiers, winning their Grand Final 36-10 over Renown United White. The boys ended the season as undefeated competition leaders and qualified for the Grand Final with a tight 28-20 win over Renown White.
The u9s started the Big Game under a lot of pressure from Renown White, who dominated possession and field possession for the first quarter of the game. The boys gallantly fought back from an early 0-10 deficit to get their nose in front 18-10 at the break. Penshurst RSL then dominated the second stanza to claim the title with a convincing victory.
Congratulations to boys on their successful first year in a competitive age group, and to Dave Hoskings and his staff. Well done to all.
