That time has come again for the end of season dinner. For $90 you can enjoy a superb 3 course meal and all the beer and wine you can drink. So come down to Conca D'oro in Riverwood and enjoy great company and an even better band - The Frocks.
Due to ground closures caused by the heavy rain, all matches this weekend (i.e. week 12) have been cancelled.
Click on link below for this week's draw. Due to the Craig Rimmer carnival the mod teams are playing round 11 while the International teams are playing round 12. The difference in round numbers will continue for the rest of the season.
As well as the mod teams all the international teams played at Home on Sunday, except the 16's who had the bye. The u 13's had their biggest win ever, by beating Hurstville 88-0. Our u14's defeated 2nd place North Ryde by 26-10, a great effort considering we have just moved up a division. The u15's were affected by sickness with key players missing through the flu and eventually losing 32-8. The u19's had a strong win over Maroubra 46-14 and the A grade overcame a aggressive and previously undefeated Eaglevale 40-16.
Last Saturday saw all the Penshurst RSL Mod teams playing at Evatt Park (except 11 Green bye). At this stage of the season all the teams are in a position to qualify not only for the semi finals but grand finals in these age groups. Our 3 teams in the u 9's are in positions 3,4,5 , with the whites in 3rd position and only one point away from 2nd position. The two under 10's are 1 & 3 , the u 11's 1 & 2 while the u 12's are 2 & 3.
The Club has hired a cinema for an exclusive viewing of the Ice Age 4 movie.
