Grand Final Results
On Sunday, the u16's were attempting to go back to back. A difficult task, especially when the u16's were playing for the 2nd division title after claiming the 3rd division title the previous year. Again Penshurst came up against the team who had beaten them in the major semi. However in a game that ebbed and flowed, and with Matt Dufty scoring 4 tries, the u16's eventually won 28-28 to give coach Glen Dufty a well-deserved win. Now he needs to win the 1st Division next year to go 3 peat. A mass of Penshurst supporters then travelled out to Campbelltown stadium to watch our A grade team attempt to win a GF for the 1st time since 1993. Inspired by Captain Damien Hooper who played with an broken foot, and the boys showing great discipline, Penshurst outplayed Eaglevale to win the Grand Final 30-0. Congratulations to all teams who won their Grand Finals and commiserations to those who were not successful. I'm sure all will learned from the experience and will come back better coaches and players next year. Grand Final Draw

Penshurst RSL rugby league's Green and Gold presentations for 2012 are on the following dates.
In an historic weekend for the club, 5 of the 8 teams came home with premierships. Not since the mid 70’s has the club experienced such success on the field. The 1st game on Sat saw the u9’s coached by Kevin Hicks, battle with Hurstville. The boys showed great spirit, but were over powered by a bigger side, eventually losing 16-0.
Grand Final build up has commenced with the release of the Draw. The u9's, u10's, u11's, u12's and u13's are all playing at Jubilee On Sat. On Sunday the 16's are at Redfern Oval and A Grade are playing at Campbelltown Stadium. Best of luck to all teams on the weekend and lets get as many supporters to the games as possible to cheer on the mighty rissoles.
