And Then There Was None...

on .

Despite whole hearted performances from our under 9s and under 11s, neither team was quite able to overcome their opposition in their bids to qualify for their respective Grand Finals. Both teams were defeated by Earlwood Saints.

On Sunday, our last team standing, the under 16s, also failed to qualify for their Grand Final when defeated by Leichhardt Wanderers.

Please come along and give your club mates your support. The 9s and 11s are both playing Earlwood Saints at Hurstville Oval on Saturday whilst the 16s travel to Birchgrove Oval to play Leichhardt Wanderers on Sunday.

Finals Week 2 Results

Penshurst RSL’s under 16s resurrected their 2004 campaign with a convincing win in week 2 of the finals. In a much improved performance they defeated Earlwood Saints 36-12 after leading 16-2 at half time.

The 16s now join the 9s and the 11s in the penultimate round of the finals next weekend. All 3 of our teams will be competing for a spot in the Grand Final.

Saturday Night Fever

on .

Club DiscoThe disco held at the club last night was a huge sucess with well over a hundred revellers dancing the night away to the sounds of the latest hits. The boys and girls were well behaved and were a credit to their parents and families. Special thanks must go to Kelly & Calvin Koch for supplying the sounds, the Penshurst RSL Club for the chips & drinks and the Lee family for their organisational effort. Well done everyone!

Sports Night Success

on .

Our panel Thanks to everbody who worked to make our Sports Night a stunning success! While we were all well entertained by  SBS sports personality Andy Paschalidis, our speakers, ex-international & Footy Show star Darryl Brohman and current Sydney Roosters and Great Britain star Adrian Morley, special thanks must go to our committee, especially Martin "Pookie" Taylor and Debby Lee for making it the night it was. The Football Club is also indebted to our major sponsor, Penshurst RSL Club Co-op, for their on-going support and generous use of their facilities again!
