Trivia Night – 10th May

on .

Penshurst RSL Rugby League's annual trivia night provides an excellent opportunity for parents within the football club to meet and mix in a relaxed atmosphere.

Why not get a table together with parents from your team and enjoy a fun night out?

Local businesses have been very generous in their support of the night with plenty of prizes to be won.

Teams of 8-10 people are recommended. The team with the most points at the end of the night will be crowned the Trivia winners!

The trivia night will be held on Saturday 10th May 2008. Cost is $10 per person with all monies raised going to the football club.

Please see your team managers about registering a team for the night.

ANZAC Day March - Penshurst RSL

on .

This Sunday, 20th April, Penshurst RSL marches along Penshurst Street to commemorate ANZAC Day.

Traditionally, Penshurst RSL rugby league is represented in the march by some of our Mini and Mod players who march in full playing strip (with joggers). Last year we were represented by 36 players. (As the march is on a Sunday, our International players will actually be representing the club on the football field).

To continue this important tradition, it would be greatly appreciated if as many Mini and Mod players as possible can participate in Sunday's march.

Meet 1.30pm in Austral Street (the side-street of Penshurst Girls High School) for a 1.45pm start. All children receive a drink and a packet of chips at the club.

Draw - Week 03.2008 (19-20 April)

on .

The third week of the season is a much reduced draw as the Minis and Mods have the weekend off due to the school holidays.

However, on the positive side, we welcome home our international teams - our u13s, u14s, u15s and u19s all play their first game for the season at HV Evatt Park on Sunday. Meanwhile, the u21s have a noon game at Engadine.

Parental help is required on the BBQ and in the canteen at Evatt in the hour preceding your team's game. Your assistance is appreciated and essential as these are important fund raisers for the club and therefore, your team.
