Draw - Week 14.2008 (19-20 Jul)

on .

The St George district competition resumes this weekend 19-20 July, after the break for the school holidays. The draw for week 14 features most of our Mini and Mod teams at H.V. Evatt Park on the Saturday, the only exception being the under 9s.

Parental help is required on the BBQ and in the canteen at Evatt in the hour preceding your child's game. Your assistance is appreciated and essential as these are important fund raisers for the club and therefore, your child.

On Sunday, all of our International teams are on the road, with the under 13s having the Bye.

NB: Please note the correction to the u15s game details and the inclusion of the u21s game at Waratah Oval.

u7s' Big Day Out - on the Road South

on .

On Sunday 28th June, 9 little ambassadors from Penshurst RSL rugby league, parents, support staff and supporters headed to Corrimal to participate in the Tommy Martin Memorial knockout.

There were 30 teams participating and our boys made it to the semi final, but were unfortunately defeated by Kiama by only a converted try.

Sadly for the boys they missed out on playing in the final for a trophy, but “copped it on the chin” and came home with everybody very PROUD of them. They played with great spirit, courage and sportsmanship and you can look forward to a more detailed wrap of the day in the next Penshurst RSL footy newsletter.

In week 13 of the draw, all of our teams are on the road. Three teams have the Bye - u9s, u11 Greens and u21s. News
