Club Meeting Deferral to 20th June Wednesday, 30 May 2007 The next Management Committee meeting of Penshurst RSL rugby league has been deferred from next Wednesday 6th June by a fortnight to the Wednesday 20th June, 7.30pm at the RSL. (13th June is unavailable due to State-Of-Origin). At least one representative from each team is required to attend.   under 21s Deferred - Peakhurst Park CLOSED Friday, 18 May 2007 As Peakhurst Park has been closed for play tonight due to the wet weather, the games scheduled to be played there tonight have been deferred until further notice. This includes our under 21s game against Renown United. Please watch this space for an update about the rescheduling of the game, which hopefully may be later in the weekend.   After Match Function - 20th May Tuesday, 15 May 2007 A reminder to all of our International teams (u14s to u21s) that an after match function will be held in the Auditorium of Penshurst RSL Club this Sunday night 20th May, from 5:00pm. Please come along and catch up with all of our senior teams. Everyone is welcome to attend so it would be great to see some of our new parents as well as those from the Mini and Mod teams who wish to become better acquainted with the senior part of the club.   Trivia Night - Update Tuesday, 15 May 2007 A BIG thank you to all who attended the Annual Trivia Night last Saturday at the RSL Club. A great night was had by all with the eventual winner being the The Mighty Ducks representing parents and friends from our under 9s team. Special thanks to Colleen and Matt Sloane who organized the night and, as usual, provided plenty of fun and games for the whole crowd!   Trivia Night - 2007 Wednesday, 02 May 2007 It's on again...Penshurst RSL Rugby League's Trivia Night !!! Put together a table with your family, friends, team and/or work mates. Or just come along and join a table on the night at one of our most entertaining nights of the year. As usual, it will be held in the auditorium at Penshurst RSL on Saturday May 12th starting at 7:00pm. There will be great prizes throughout the night, six rounds of trivia plus a phantom horse race, spot prizes and a large raffle. This is the major fundraiser for the club and is always a lot of fun. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. PS: If you know anyone who has any prizes they would like to donate for the night contact our Social Secretary, Debbie Moodie or a committee member.   Get well soon, JC Tuesday, 01 May 2007 Penshurst RSL rugby league wishes long term player and clubman John Callaghan a speedy and successful recovery from his recent operation. John was diagnosed with a brain haematoma and underwent emergency surgery early last Saturday morning. It is understood that the surgery was successful and that, at this stage, John's long-term prognosis is positive. He does face a long period of recovery. JC, everyone at Penshurst RSL rugby league is hoping and praying for your successful recovery. Get well soon, mate.
